The Interplay of Working Memory and Prospective Memory across the Lifespan
This projects aims to understand the interplay of working memory and prospective memory. It is assumed that both cognitive abilities interact, however, the existing literature remains mainly correlative. The central research question is: Do working memory and prospective memory share the same resources? The project follows an experimental approach in younger adults. Furthermore, we are interested in the developmental differences in children, younger, and older adults applying a lifespan approach.
