Group Haas: Digital Ageing and Everyday Cognition
In this research group, we focus on studying cognitive functioning in daily life or everyday-like situations by the means of innovative research methods. We investigate how technology and technology-assisted approaches allow us to observe and eventually to predict processes related to (everyday) cognition, with a focus on aging effects.
As an interdisciplinary research group, we pursue active collaboration with colleagues from various institutions, academic and applied, such as: the University of Zurich (UZH), the University of Applied Science Eastern Switzerland (OST), the University of Turku (Finland), Peili Vision (VR Finland), and the Haute École d’Ingénierie du Canton de Vaud (HEIG-VD).
Our research goals are pursued in the following projects:
- From Lab to Life: Cognitive Aging revisited
- LifeLog
- A-EPELI
- Co-Sense project
- FreiZeit project
- Age-NT – Altern in der Gesellschaft: Nationales Innovationsnetzwerk / Vieillir dans la société: réseau d’innovation national – Cluster Dementia
- Validation of online assessment tools (COGTEL & CRUISER)
